Heavenly Journey sang at Lou’s Pavilion in Sebastopol on Saturday, February 2. This was our first visit and we really enjoyed it!

The atmosphere is incredible! It was originally an open-air shed (very large) that they enclosed. They have bedrooms, a huge kitchen, a stage and tables for eating. They are also still adding features!

We got to hear some really good local artists also. They sang bluegrass, country, and folk music.

Awesome!!

We really look forward to going back there on May 3.

We will be participating in Gospel Slam, 2008, in Magee, Mississippi on Saturday, February 23.

This is the 2nd annual Gospel Slam, and it is held in the Battlezone Wrestling Arena on Hwy 28.

Last year, four groups sang, Voices of Faith, Heavenly Journey, Psalms Trio and Hearts Desire. At the end of the regular singing, we had “sing-off” and the crowd got to pick their favorite of the night.

Voices of Faith won last year and will back to defend their title this year.

Joining us this year will be New Genesis from Yazoo City and DaySpring Trio from Choctaw, two great groups full of wonderful people!

We are looking forward to this event and hope all y’all come out to support us! We need it!!
